Paul: Hello everyone, it’s so nice to e-meet you all!

Pat: Great to have you today. Please introduce yourself, your background and share an interesting story of how you got into crypto 🙂

Paul: My name is Paul and I am a Chief Marketing Officer at Mars4. My background is as Seasoned Marketing and Ecommerce Executive. I am leading the EMEA expansion of the Super G children’s GPS watch brand. I am highly experienced in building and growing passionate communities of evangelists for crypto startups. In my career I have launched the first marketplace in Second Life.

Pat: Awesome! Can you share a bit of a backstory of how Mars4 was created?

Paul: Sure! There is no difficult or long story however, it mostly refers to the problems that Mars4 seeks to solve.

There are few problems that created an incentive for Mars4 to emerge. First of all, not many people will be able to explore Mars in reality, therefore, we wanted to make them to be able to explore it virtually. Another reason is that Space startups at early stages have little support, thus, creating a foundation will fill this gap. In addition to this, existing NFTs are not generating yield at the moment and we wanted to create an innovation here.

So what is Mars4 all about? What are you bringing to the table that is new?

Paul: Mars4 – centered ecosystem where you can explore a virtual Mars Metaverse, own and customize your land property with MARS4 dollars and even reap the rewards of the world’s first revenue-generating NFT!

Mars4 is a unique metaverse with a virtual reality component. The Mars4 project’s development team has modeled their detailed 3D map of Mars’ terrain after NASA’s Mars data. Think of it as Mars’ equivalent of the 2001 Google Earth 3D map. In this virtual world on Mars, users purchase plots of land that they can later navigate, build upon and monetize.

Mars4 users purchase land plots where they can later cultivate civilisations and create economies. Landlords can build upon, rent and sell their lots. With MARS4 they are able to get ownership certificates, change the name of the land, pay for a range of avatars, wearables and more on the Mars4 marketplace. In this way, the world on Mars leverages NFT Mars Land, Gamification and Token Redistribution to create attractive tokenomics for traders and investors.

Paul: Community doesn’t even have to wait for that long! Our biggest news that our MARS4 token is already available on Sushiswap is the freshly announced news! Pat: NICE! that’s awesome at this early stage for all NFT holders. Can you share a little bit on the utilities of your token?

Paul: Mars4 uses two tokens: MARS4 (ERC-20) and Mars Land NFTs (ERC-721, both on ETH and MATIC). Supply is limited to 4B MARS4 tokens and 99,888 Mars4 NFTs. Mars4 has dual tokenomics with a MARS4 tokens for gaming, trading, and NFT minting. MARS4 has balanced liquidity, as after Mars4 Marketplace launch
4% of Metaverse transactions will be redistributed: 2% distributed to NFT holders, 2% locked to liquidity and staking programs. Before the launch of Metaverse, epochs are introduced to redistribute passive income for Mars landlords. Each Epoch starts after a new 10,000 NFTs are sold. 51% of income from the Land NFTs are redistributed to the previous NFT owners, starting Epoch 1. MARS4 tokens will play a key role in the metaverse’s transaction processes. Each time users perform a transaction, the Mars4 NFT holders will earn a yield.

The project also has NFTs representing the surface of Mars. Mars Land are traditional NTF tokens they can be traded on any market place just like a normal NFT. Moreover, we believe that the yield we have built into them (passive income) that transfers to the new owner makes them even more attractive. Terraforming your land will help to increase its value. You can purchase additional value-enhancing avatars, certificates, and logos from its in-game assets feature.

Pat: Can you share a little bit about the team and their background briefly?

Paul: Sure! Our Core Team is world class, coming from companies like PWC, LinkedIn, Salesforce, Swedbank, Iron Wolf Capital (one of the largest VC funds in Northern Europe). Notably, two of our team members helped build and launch the first marketplace on Second Life (the original Metaverse). In addition, similar to yourselves, we are early investors in Bitcoin, Ethereum and many newer smaller decentralized startups.

In what order?

Paul: Building community trust is the most valuable as it cannot be faked like the others. However – we believe that we must deliver on all four and have strategies and plans in place to increase Token Price, make the Token valuable, Empower the development of the platform, build community trust and expand partnerships.

We are working on each of these very strongly. Starting with further developments of our virtual Mars platform and moving forward with plans regarding P2E strategy and gaming studios.

Q: MARS4 is a Metaverse with dual tokenomics, and #DualTokenomics means MARS4 utilizes 2 tokens right? the $MARS and #MarsLandNFT tokens. So can you describe each token & its uses? Also, what’s your purpose for having dual tokens on the platform?

Paul: Mars4 uses two tokens: MARS4 and Mars Land NFTs (Mars NFT). MARS4 is an ERC-20 / BSC token that must be burned to acquire non-fungible ERC-721 LAND tokens.

Q: Since you’re using a combination of various techniques like proxy contracts, separation of concers, access control, How can you guarantee the safety of users assets, giving them the confidence that their assets is secured, safe and under their complete control? Are you Audited?

Paul: Our security is world class and we follow all best in class procedures. Moreover our smart contract will be audited by Quantstamp who are the best in the industry and even audit huge DeFi projects like Synthetics.

Technically the system has been designed to be safe and secure, and we are spending all the necessary resources in order to ensure that the system matches the highest security standards. We are using a combination of various techniques like proxy contracts, separation of concers, access control etc. We are also looking into new and promising protocols like Lossless. Audits will be crucially important part as well, we are looking for service providers who can help us with that.

Q: Revenue is an important aspect for all projects to survive and maintain the project/company. How have you been able to build a complete project and what is the way to generate profit/revenue of the token? What is the income model?

Paul: Mars4 will have several revenue streams after the IDO. There will be a transaction fee on all activity in the marketplace and game world. Also when we launch P2E we expect there to be a very high volume of transactions. Finally we will be doing large auctions of the Rare and Super rare NFTs, generating a large amount of revenue for game development.

Q: Metaverse may be called the next generation of internet. The concept of Metaverse and GameFi has emerged. The market is fiercely competitive and the survival of the fittest. What are the differences with other? What’s in your Metaverse plan?

Paul: The Metaverse sector is exploding in popularity with several high quality Blockchain projects like Decentraland and Sandbox going from strength to strength and even traditional technology companies like Facebook seeking to get involved. We believe Mars4 has captured the imagination of people around the world and our thousands of individual buyers of Mars Land are excited to participate in our science fiction flavoured virtual experience.

We believe Metaverses are not a short term fashion, but a Mega Trend that will be with us for decades as humanity spends more of its life in Digital worlds. We are early to this trend and will continue to adapt and improve the gaming and virtual experience so Mars remains the premier destination in the Metaverse to play , socialise, and earn money.

Q: Do you have a plan to promote in the country that English is not popular? Do you have a local community group for them?

Q: What is the main mission of your project #Mars ,what are the actions you have taken to achieve your missions?

Paul: The easiest way for you to imagine what MARS4 seeks to achieve is Google Earth experience on Mars. The ability for a person to use Google Streetview is a goal for the Mars4 project. At the moment we have a virtual representation of Mars that each of you can explore! Find it here: https://app.mars4.me/.

The following step that we want to implement is “Streetview”, like it is on Google Maps. People then could “walk” on the surface of Mars and imagine themselves being Martians!

Q: One of the use cases of MARS4 token is to generate NFT, can you tell us this feature, How can your token help us to generate NFT? What types of NFT can be made? Also, what can we do with the generated NFT and its process?

Paul: First of all, the main advantage to owning land plots is the yield that was built into them. In other words, passive income will be earned by Mars landlords simply by holding the lots.

Secondly, as our Mars Land are traditional NTF tokens they can be traded on any market place just like a normal NFT. Don’t forget that the value of NFT could also be increased by terraforming the lot.

The next stage will be renting, leasing and subleasing, then splitting and subdividing so you can sell off smaller parcels of your land as new, separate NFTs to new owners.

For the future, MARS4 visualises terraforming features that refer to initially developing and enhancing the land with space stations, oxygen production facilities, greenhouses to grow food and everything else you can imagine as Mars becomes more livable.
